MalariaGEN hosts two Google Summer of Code projects with promising malaria genomics talent

This summer, Mohamed Laarej and Deepak Silaych were supported through the Google Summer of Code 2025 initiative to work with MalariaGEN on projects to better understand mosquito populations in Africa. Both are new to malaria and open data resources, but share a desire to use their technical skills to make a difference in the world.
